How to apply

Renting with us is simple and direct: you deal with the owner, with no agency and no agency fees. Here is how it works.

1. First contact

Call us or send an email mentioning which accommodation you are interested in and your planned arrival date. We reply quickly.

Do not attach any documents at this stage — nothing is needed for a first conversation or a visit.

2. Visit

We organise an on-site visit. Abroad or far from Lille? A video visit is possible.

3. Application

If you like the accommodation, we will tell you which documents to gather. Under French regulation (decree no. 2015-1437), only documents from the statutory list can be requested, typically:

  • a valid ID (passport or national ID card);
  • proof of your student status (student card, enrolment certificate);
  • for your guarantor: ID and proof of income — or a Visale guarantee (see below).

4. Guarantor or Visale

No guarantor in France? Visale is a free state guarantor scheme, open to students under 31, including international students. We accept it.

5. Signature and move-in

Student furnished lease (9 months possible) or standard one-year furnished lease, one month security deposit, joint move-in inventory, key handover. Rent receipts are provided — you will need them for your CAF/APL housing benefit application.
