Life in the house
Immotav is a single house set up to host 7 student units — not a large residence with dozens of anonymous corridors. It keeps the feel of an actual home: quiet, human-scale, and set up for studying in good conditions.
Shared spaces
The 5 rooms share maintained, functional common spaces:
- a fully equipped kitchen, so you can cook without buying your own appliances;
- a living room, somewhere to relax outside of your room;
- a laundry room with a washing machine, so you do not depend on an outside launderette;
- shared bathroom facilities, cleaned regularly;
- an outdoor terrace, open to everyone.
The studio and the studette each have their own private bathroom: more independence, while still enjoying the rest of the house.
The atmosphere
The limited number of units keeps the atmosphere calm and conducive to studying. Cleaning of the shared spaces is organised so that everyone finds clean, pleasant spaces to use, without it falling on any one person alone.
A few simple house rules
Nothing complicated — sharing a house with others just takes a bit of consideration.
- Respect for neighbours and other tenants, especially in the evening.
- Keeping shared spaces clean after use (kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room).
- Guests are welcome, within reason — the house is, first and foremost, a home for its tenants.
These few common-sense principles let everyone feel at home while sharing the communal spaces smoothly.
